As a home owner and a resident of Misty Creek for over six years I can personally attest to the wonderful life style this community provides to its’ residents.
The Preserve at Misty Creek is a beautiful gated community of 302 single family homes.
Close to Interstate 75 and just off of Bee Ridge Extension, this gated community is approximately a 20 minute drive to beautiful beaches and resorts on Longboat and Siesta Key. It is close to several churches, Bay Ridge, Grace Church and St. Patrick’s Church all on Bee Ridge Road just to name a few. Shopping is within minutes as well.
Misty Creek is located in the top-rated Riverview High, Sarasota Middle and Lakeview Elementary School Districts of Sarasota County. Our family friendly community is also convenient to the school bus service which is just inside our gates. Many other schools are close as well.
The Preserve at Misty Creek is located on a heavily forested tract of land that houses many kinds of wildlife species, including deer, bobcat, bald eagles, red tailed hawks, sandhill cranes, egrets, alligators, and large turtles, just to name a few.
There is also an abundance of fish who live in our well stocked Misty Creek lakes. Residents may fish and paddle on our many lakes.
Although The Preserve at Misty Creek has no golf membership requirements, they do offer for golfers a beautiful golf course that is set among native trees, lakes and wild life and is a par 72 championship course. Along with golf, there four tennis courts – where you can arrange for lessons with a tennis pro or play a few games with a friend.
The HOA fees are rated as some of the lowest in the Sarasota area. Prices of homes within Misty Creek are comparable to homes in other communities and vary according to size. Misty Creek offers not only beautiful homes but expansive open space – not just around only the individual homes but in and around the community for all to enjoy.
